Terms and refund policy
Last updated: 23 April 2026
These terms govern your use of xmahub, including the free assessment and the £39 protocol. By using the site or purchasing the protocol, you agree to them. We have tried to write them in plain English so you can actually read them. If anything is unclear, email hello@xmahub.com.
Who you are contracting with
xmahub is operated by Steffen Hoyemsvoll Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 09302803, with its registered office at 5 Brayford Square, London, England, E1 0SG. In these terms we refer to ourselves as “xmahub”, “we”, or “us”. We refer to you as “you”.
What you are buying
The xmahub protocol is a digital educational product: a personalised eczema profile based on your assessment, a 45-day step-by-step plan, a trigger report, an environmental audit checklist, a barrier-repair stack, a flare-response plan, a dietary protocol, and a tracking-log template. It is delivered by email and through the members area at xmahub.com/protocol/login.
The price is £39 including VAT where applicable. It is a one-time payment. Once paid, your access is for life. There is no subscription.
How a purchase is formed
When you pay through the Stripe-hosted checkout we display, you are making an offer to buy the protocol. The contract is formed when we confirm the payment and send your purchase-confirmation email. You will receive access details in that email.
You must be 18 or older to buy the protocol.
Your right to a refund
We offer a straightforward 30-day refund.
- You can request a full refund within 30 days of purchase by emailing hello@xmahub.com from the email address you used to buy. There are no forms to fill in and we do not ask why.
- We process refunds to the original payment method within 14 days of your request, usually much sooner. Your bank or card provider may take a further few working days to show the refund on your statement.
- Your access to the members area continues until the refund is processed, after which it is revoked.
This refund policy is more generous than your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Nothing in these terms limits those statutory rights.
Note on the 14-day cancellation right for digital content. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, the standard 14-day cancellation right does not apply once you have explicitly agreed that the digital content should start being delivered immediately and acknowledged that doing so waives the cancellation right. Our 30-day refund promise is offered in addition to, and replaces any concern about, that statutory exception: you can always ask for your money back for 30 days regardless.
Intellectual property
Everything in the protocol, the blog, and the site is owned by xmahub or licensed to us. When you buy the protocol, we grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the content for your own benefit.
You must not share your members-area login with anyone else, republish the content (online, in print, or in any other form), resell it, or use it to create a competing product. If someone you know wants the protocol, point them at the assessment and let them buy their own copy.
What xmahub is and is not
xmahub is educational. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. We are not your doctor. The protocol summarises peer-reviewed research and clinical guidance into a structured, trackable plan; it is not a substitute for a consultation with a qualified clinician.
You should not stop, start, or change any medication based on the protocol. If your symptoms worsen, you develop a skin infection, or you are unsure about any recommendation, consult a GP or dermatologist. See the medical disclaimer for more detail.
Acceptable use
When using the site or members area, you agree not to:
- Attempt to access any account, data, or system you are not authorised to use.
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute the protocol or any other part of the site beyond personal use.
- Use automated tools to submit the assessment, sign up, or otherwise interact with the site in a way that is not normal human use.
- Interfere with the operation of the site (denial-of-service, injection attempts, credential stuffing).
- Impersonate another person.
If you break these rules, we may suspend or terminate your access and, where appropriate, involve the relevant authorities.
Availability
We aim to keep the site available and the members area functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance, unplanned outages, changes by our hosting provider, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control may cause brief unavailability. If a significant, prolonged outage affects your ability to use what you paid for, contact us and we will make it right.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
Subject to the paragraph above, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with these terms and your use of xmahub is limited to the amount you paid us (£39 if you bought the protocol, £0 if you did not).
We are not liable for any loss or damage that is not a reasonably foreseeable consequence of the contract between us.
Nothing in these terms affects your non-excludable statutory rights as a consumer, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If the change is material, we will email existing customers. For ongoing use of the site, the version live at the top of this page at the time of use applies. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, although if you live in another part of the UK you can bring a claim in your local courts.
Before taking any formal action, please email hello@xmahub.com so we can try to resolve it directly. We read every email and respond the same day where possible.
